Drawing Summer Camps

Picture Book Art (ages 5 -7)

Session 1 (July 8-11), Session 2 (July 15-18), 9:30am - 12:30pm

Explore the world of art through picture books! Each day we will start with an engaging read-aloud of a picture book to inspire you to create your own artwork. Learn about different illustrators and experiment with drawing techniques through art projects, games and activities.

Character Creation (ages 7-10)

Session 1 (July 8-11), Session 2 (July 15-18), 1:00pm - 4:00pm

Let your imagination flow as you design your very own human, animal and imaginary characters while learning about drawing anatomy, proportions and expressions. Learn how to pose characters and give them extra personality using clothing, hair and facial features. You will finish the session with at least one character sheet of your own unique creation.

Sessions are located on Aldwick Drive in Lake Highlands.

Cost is $250 per session, supplies included.

Space is limited to 8 students per session.
